Parashat Bo The first page contains a vertically elongated rectangle containing an angel-like figure within an intricate colourful design, subdivided by gold bands, which also frame the panel and the word parashah. The Angel represents the Angel of Death in Egypt (Exodus 12:29): In the upper compartment of the panel is a naked, long-winged angel. The lower compartment has an interlacing pattern. The entire parashah spans four leaves (folios 40-43) but folio 41 is not available.
