Parashat Vayyeshev. The first page contains an elaborate design on the first two letters of the word parashah, in intricate zoo- and anthropomorphic letters similar to those of the artist’s colophon (folio 447) within shield-shaped panels surmounted by a magnificent a blue cockerel. The entire parashah spans three leaves (folios 27-29).
