RaDaK’s Sefer Mikhlol written within an exquisitely decorated arcaded page with a monkey playing at the top of the page and a rabbit at the bottom of the page nibbling red leaves. The arcade is filled with multicoloured foliage scrolls and flowers. Verso, a monkey dressed in shirt, shorts, cap and bells is seated between the gables and plays a pipe above the spandrels of gold arcades. Flanking it are stylised peacocks, each with its head turned back to look at a little bird about to land on its back. The page has gold arcades and blue framing bars.
