Folio 43

Parashat Beshallach The first page is framed by elegant turquoise filigree, gold bars and intricate geometrical design. Folio 43v contains more turquoise filigree with red and green intricate geometrical designs framing the page. Folio 44 is written in the traditional ‘wave-like’ method and is framed by turquoise filigree and gold bars. There is a long section containing the massorah written in micrography. Folio 45v contains micrography written within a decorative rectangle and framed by green penwork. The entire parashah spans three leaves (folios 43-45).
