Folio 521a This scene of Noah in the ark is the only Ashkenazi example from this period.
Folio 521a The binding of Isaac. Abraham stands by the altar, grasping Isaac by the forelock, his knife poised. He turns his head towards an angel who holds the blade of the knife, preventing it from touching Isaac. At the same time, he points at a ram caught in a bush.
